Short introductory courses at the Sankt Hildegardis Abbey in Germany

Regelmatig organiseer ik korte opleidingen in de abdij die Hildegard van Bingen heeft opgericht in Eibingen, Duitsland. Deze opleidingen worden gegeven in dagformule in de abdij. Aangezien de zusters momenteel geen groepsboekingen met overnachting accepteren, dien je zelf voor je verblijf te zorgen. Als je tijdig boekt, heb je wellicht de mogelijkheid om een kamer in de abdij te reserveren; vergeet dan niet te vermelden dat je aan de opleiding deelneemt. Voor andere accommodaties bieden Eibingen en Rüdesheim-am-Rhein een scala aan opties in verschillende prijsklassen, en Eibingen ligt op loopafstand van de abdij.

Gedurende deze opleiding maak je kennis met het leven en werk van Hildegard, haar filosofie en krijg je een introductie in haar natuurgeneeskunde. Ook is er een bezoek aan de kruidentuin inbegrepen.

I regularly organize short courses at the abbey founded by Hildegard of Bingen in Eibingen, Germany. These courses are held at the abbey as day programs. Since the sisters are currently not accepting group bookings that include overnight stays, you will need to arrange your own accommodation. 

During the course, you will be introduced to Hildegard’s life, work, and philosophy, as well as her approach to natural medicine. A visit to the herb garden is also included.

This course can also be conducted in English. If you have a group willing to travel to Germany, a course can be organized specifically for you. Please note, however, that accommodation must be booked separately and may not be available at the abbey itself.If you book well in advance, you may be able to reserve a room at the abbey. For other accommodation, Eibingen and Rüdesheim-am-Rhein offer a range of options across various price points, and Eibingen is within walking distance of the abbey.
